Bio- und regenerative Kraft- und Treibstoffe sind die ökonomische und ökologische Substitution zu herkömmlichen fossilen Kraftstoffen.

Bio- und regenerative Kraft- und Treibstoffe dienen der schrittweisen Ergänzung und mittelfristigen Substitution von konventionellem Benzin und Diesel sowie von Erdgas.

Mobilität ist ein wirtschaftlicher und ein wesentlicher Beschäftigungsfaktor. Mit der Weichenstellung und Einführung von Bio- und regenerativen Kraft- und Treibstoffen auf dem Markt leistet der BBK mit seinem Engagement einen wichtigen Beitrag, um die wirtschaftliche Standortsicherung in Deutschland auch in Zukunft sicher zu stellen.

Fast ein Drittel der in der Europäischen Union verbrauchten Energie wird im Verkehrsbereich eingesetzt. Die herkömmlich genutzten Kraftstoffe basieren fast ausschließlich auf begrenzt verfügbaren fossilen Rohstoffen (Erdöl, Erdgas). Langfristig ist mit einer Verknappung und Verteuerung dieser Ressourcen zu rechnen.

Bio- und regenerative Kraft- und Treibstoffe leisten einen wesentlichen Beitrag für eine nachhaltige Mobilität. Sie fördern

• den Wirtschaftsstandort Deutschland und Europa,
  
• die Versorgungssicherheit (steigende Substitution von sinkenden fossilen Energieressourcen),
  
• die Entwicklung der Volkswirtschaft durch innovative Technologien und den Export,
  
• die Stärkung von Wertschöpfung und Beschäftigung (insbesondere ländlicher Räume)
  
• den Klimaschutz (CO2-Kreislauf).

Bio- and regenerative fuels are the economic and ecological substitution to the conventional fuels.

These new fuels serve for the gradual addition and the medium term substitution of conventional gasoline and diesel as well as of natural gas.

The mobility is an economic factor and essential for employment. After the implementation of the new fuels on the market the BBK make an important contribution to place surely the future economic secure in Germany

Nearly a third of the European energy is used in traffic. The most common used fuels are based on limited-based fossil raw materials (oil, natural gas).Over long term we may reckon that these raw materials will become lesser and more expansive.

The bio- and regenerative fuels accomplish a primary contribution for a lasting mobility. They promote

• the economic-area Germany and Europe
  
• the secure supply (increasing substitution from decreasing fossil sources of energy)
  
• the development of the national economy through innovative technology and export
  
• the stabilization of creation of value and occupation (primary rural areas)
  
• climatic protection (CO2 – cycle).
